Gianna Shamone - Finding Me OUT NOW!

Gianna Shamone was born in Hamburg, where she was raised by three women, spending most of her childhood in her mother‘s hair salon. After her studies she relocated to Berlin to work as an event and artist manager. Feeling the need to manifest an outlet for her love for creative expression, she taught herself to work as an analogue photographer, set designer and music video director. As writing was always a coping strategy she used to understand the ups and downs of life, she decided to use words as another medium of creative expression. In the beginning of 2020 she put together her first book “FINDING ME“ and is eager to pursue this path as an author.

Following a Kickstarter campaign that saw Gianna raise enough money to publish her debut collection, her collection was published 11th November 2020.

Gianna Shamone a Berlin based self-taught analogue photographer and video director, started to use her writing, which was always a coping strategy to understand the ups and downs of life, as another medium of creative expression and put together her first book “FINDING ME“ in the beginning of 2020.

Gianna’s debut poetry collection is about self-love, self-development and womanhood. It was written during a time-frame of three years and put together during the quarantine time in March/April 2020. It describes the journey of the author back to herself after a heavy break-up and other traumatising events.
